It's a new day!

It's a new day y'all!

​First of all, because this happened last of all so it's top of my mind, Facebook has shown me a phrase (thanks Facebook) that is so totally me, I can hardly stop jumping up and down. You know how that is, when you come across something that makes you go, "OHMYGOD THAT'S MEEEEE!!!!!"???

I saw this ad for women speakers who are futurists. Futurist. Women. Speakers. And I went...all together now!..."OHMYGOD, THAT'S MEEEEE!!!" But what does that have to do with not being a good girl and what does it have to do with identity and Big Shifts, which is what I facilitate and work towards in my work with all of my client-friends?

Identity begets action.

How I perceive myself creates my possibilities in my activities. If I think to myself "Oh no, I just can't," I'll tell you something: I just won't! Nuh-UH! I ain't doin' it!

But changing that perception is not a push-through mode of simply saying to myself over and over again: "I can! I can! I can!" Nope. I can say, over and over again, "I'm a TOMATO! I'm a TOMATO! I'm a TOMATO!" or, to be just a touch more realistic perhaps, "I'M RICH! I'M RICH! I'M RICH!"

But I'm not going to be either rich or a tomato, because the effort is where I am placing my attention. I am efforting myself to DEATH! And believe me, I have a Ph.D. in Efforting, and it gets ya nothing!

But when your mind is changed, your perception altered - when you "catch the vision", as Rev. Michael Beckwith says - of what can be, of who you are, of your bigness, your genius, your possibilities, your potentiality, of something you just know you can do...then the joyous work begins. Then you are working toward something that is already here. You know it is possible, so you are not bogged down by doubt and self-doubt and fear. You may FEEL those things, but they no longer have the same stickum on them, because you know the truth! You know you can.

So, catching the vision, "changing your mind" through perception rather than effort, that is the game I'm currently playing. And here is what is happening!

So, up until about a couple of weeks ago, I already knew that I am a leader, a writer, and a speaker. I know that I am an agent of change and transformation. So far, so fabulous!

Now, here's the other thing that's happening. I am writing a book about the future - ahem! the FUTURE! - of business. This may not sound sexy at first blush, but au contraire, mes amis! It is called "Solving for X: Bringing Humanity Back Into Business".

And I'm going to change the freaking world. That's the ENERGY that is coursing through my mind and my body as I keep writing this - wow - book! 

So here I am, also a Futurist (I'm so digging that WORD, that CONCEPT!)! I'm also an author! I'm also a transformational futurist woman speaker! 

And here's what I want to share with you that is most of all important to all of us: it doesn't take becoming a badass to BE a badass. You don't have to become enlightened, in other words, in order to become filled with light! You have to pay attention to what touches you with light - whether a feeling of joy, a pinprick of light. or something between the two. It. doesn't. matter. Whatever that is, press upon it, lean into it, explore it, get curious about it. Invite it in.

Let LIFE show you where you are going, while at the same time following that little ball of internal light that leads you forward with more enthusiasm every day. What a far better way of living life than that of trying to beat it into submission.

Change is happening in our world and it is so dark and representative of cruelty and repression that we can have only one response in the end: we have to find, follow, and create the light that is us. The world needs the feminine, and we came in loaded for bear. So grab the hand of the sister beside you and let's talk!
